\nBaptism of Marie Anne Fortin.<\/p>\n

On the ninth day of the month of December in the year [one-thousand six-hundred] eighty-eight; by me Germaine Morin, priest of the seminary of Qu\u00e9bec, performing the function of pastor of this church, was baptized Marie Anne, daughter of Charles Fortin and Sainte Cloutier his wife, born on the previous day in the evening. Her Godfather was Joseph Fortin, her uncle, and her Godmother was Barbe fortin, her aunt and the wife of Pierre Gagnon of this parish who has signed, and Charles Fortin the father and the Godfather declare that they do not know how to write or sign as required by law.
