Louis Fortin<\/p>\n

In the year of O[ur] Lord, [one thousand six hundred]
\nseventy one, on the nineteenth of March: I baptized in the
\nChurch of Saint Anne, an infant born on the seventh of the
\nsame month of Julian Fortin and Genevi\u00ed\u00a8ve Gamache, his
\nwife, residing in the same parish. His Godfather was Joseph
\nGagnon and his Godmother was Louise Picard, daughter of
\nJean Picard. The infant was named Louis. Signed F[ran\u00ed\u00a7ois]
\nFillon, missionary priest .\u00a0[signed] Morin, priest<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This record can be found as image 12\/877 in the Quebec Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 on Ancestry.com in the records for Ste. Anne du Beaupr\u00e9 1668-1808. The record appears on page 8.<\/p>\n

This image is apparently from a transcript of the original record book since it states that the record was signed by Fran\u00ed\u00a7ois Fillon, but was actually signed by Morin.<\/p>\n
