Translated from the Polish, the entry reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ocies\u0119ki<\/strong>, a village, manor, and estate in Kielce Powiat, Cis\u00f3w gmina, Ocies\u0119ki parish, 32 versts from Kielce. There are deposits of limestone here. The village has a wooden parish church, erected along with the parish in 1610 by the landowner of Ocies\u0119cki, Jan Go\u0142kowski. The current church dates from the 18th century. In 1827, there were 34 houses and 241 inhabitants. On November 28, 1863, a skirmish took place here between the units of Chmieli\u0144ski and Bosak and the Russian army. The parish, in the Opat\u00f3w deanery, has 768 souls. In 1883, the Ocies\u0119ki estate consisted of the Ocies\u0119ki manor, the forest settlements of Igrzycznia, J\u00f3zwiny, and Zamozysko, and the villages of Ocies\u0119ki, Nowa Huta, W\u00f3lka Poch\u0142onna, Koziel, Czarna, and Grodno. Area: 1130 m\u00f3rgs [in the Russian partition 1 m\u00f3rg = 1.388 acres]; arable land and gardens 265 m\u00f3rgs, meadows 50 m\u00f3rgs, pastures 76 m\u00f3rgs, forest 715 m\u00f3rgs, unproductive land 24 m\u00f3rgs; 1 brick building, 22 wooden buildings; 8 and 9-field crop rotation. The forest is unmanaged. In 1883, the W\u00f3lka Poch\u0142onna manor (495 m\u00f3rgs) and Huta Nowa manor (90 m\u00f3rgs) were separated from this estate. The estate also included: Ocies\u0119ki village, 41 households with 592 m\u00f3rgs of land; Nowa Huta village, 23 households with 181 m\u00f3rgs of land; W\u00f3lka Pok\u0142onna village, 18 households with 327 m\u00f3rgs of land; Koziel village, 29 households with 337 m\u00f3rgs of land; Czarna village, 8 households with 119 m\u00f3rgs of land; Grodno village, 9 households with 180 m\u00f3rgs of land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Copyright \u00a9 2025 by Stephen J.
