Translated from the French the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Anne LeBlanc<\/p>\n<p>On the 16th of March of the present year, I the undersigned have baptized Anne LeBlanc, daughter of Pierre Leblanc and Fran\u00ed\u00a7oise Landry legitimate this day. Her Godfather was Joseph LeBlanc and her Godmother was Anne Bourg In witness thereof I have signed the day and year above.<br \/>\n[signed] Br[other] F\u00e9lix Pain R.M.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This record can be found as <a title=\"image 90\/317\" href=\"http:\/\/content.ancestry.com\/Browse\/view.aspx?dbid=1110&amp;path=S.St-Charles-les-Mines+Bapt%c3%aames.1707-1733.90&amp;sid=&amp;gskw=&amp;cr=1\">image 90\/317<\/a> in the Acadia French Catholic Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1670-1946 on Ancestry.com in the records for St-Charles-les-Mines Bapt\u00ed\u00aames 1707-1733. The record appears on page 86.<\/p>\n<p>I found this record while trying to trace\u00c2\u00a0the Leblanc family line from which my Godmother, Alice Charron Danko, descends. The\u00c2\u00a0document is\u00c2\u00a0an Acadian record\u00c2\u00a0from Nova Scotia .\u00a0 The date of birth of Anne LeBlanc was not provided in this record.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: 17 Mar 2008: Gilles, the <a title=\"Nomadic Researcher\" href=\"http:\/\/chercheurnomade.blogspot.com\/\">Nomadic Researcher<\/a>, provided me with the correct transcription and translation for the last sentence of this record.
