On the seventeenth day of the month of April in the year one thousand six hundred
\nseventy eight, by Mister Thomas Morel, missionary priest
\nfrom the Seminary of Qu\u00e9bec, was baptized in Cap St. Ignace
\nLouis, son of Nicolas Gamache, habitant of this place, and Ursule
\nCloutier his wife, born on the twentieth of March last. The Godfather and
\nGodmother were Jacques Fortin and Louise Picard wife of
\nLouis Gagnier.
