On the thirty first of the month of January in the year one thousand six hundred eighty six was baptized in the parish of St. Ignace by me, Morel, missionary priest of the seminary of Qu\u00e9bec and first canon of the cathedral church of the said Qu\u00e9bec, responsible for the functions of the parish priest in the said place and others. Augustin, son of Nicolas Gamache, residing in the said place, and of Ursule Cloutier, his wife, born on the twenty sixth of the same month and year. The Godfather was Louis Lemieux, the Godmother was Fran\u00ed\u00a7oise Minuille, wife of Pierre Richard, who have declared that they are not able to sign as required by law.
