In the year one thousand seven hundred forty six, on the thirty first of January, by us, the undersigned missionary priest of Cap St. Ignace Marguerite Ursule was baptized, born on the same day, daughter of Pierre Gamache and Genevi\u00ed\u00a8ve Belanger, the father and mother. The Godfather was Fr[an\u00ed\u00a7ois] Pierre Fortin and the Godmother was Marie [two words?], the Godfather and Godmother have declared that they do not know how to sign according to law.<\/p>\n
