In the year one thousand seven hundred forty four, on the eighth of January, by us, the missionary pastor of Cap St. Ignace, was baptized Lazard, born on the seventh of the same month, son of Pierre Gamache and Marie Genevieve Belanger, his legitimate spouse. The Godfather was Lazard Richard and the Godmother was Elizabeth Guion who have declared that they do not know how to sign as required according to law.<\/p>\n
