{"id":20846,"date":"2019-01-27T08:06:27","date_gmt":"2019-01-27T16:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stephendanko.com\/blog\/?p=20846"},"modified":"2021-11-08T23:00:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T07:00:19","slug":"the-duchy-of-warsaw-1807-1815","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stephendanko.com\/blog\/20846","title":{"rendered":"The Duchy of Warsaw 1807-1815"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The War of the Fourth Coalition against Napoleon&#8217;s French Empire ended with the Treaties of Tilsit, the first signed on 07 July 1907 between the French Empire and Imperial Russia, and the second signed on 09 July 1807 between the French Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1807, the Treaties of Tilsit resulted in the creation of of the Duchy of Warsaw from the territories previously acquired by Prussia during the partition of Pland. Part of the territories from the first, all of the second, and all of the third Prussian partitions of Poland became the Duchy of Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The War of the Fifth Coalition against the French Empire ended with the Peace in Schr\u00f6nbrunn on 14 October 1809.
