Translated from the Polish, the entry states the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>,\u00a0 1.) grange [large manorial farmstead], Lubart\u00f3w powiat [district], Wielkie gmina [municipality], Rudno parish. The property of D\u0119biny consists of the D\u0119biny grange, [attynencyi?] \u0141\u0105ki Oskie and \u0141\u0105ka\u0107, the village of Wolica is here; 35 versts [0.66 miles per versts] from Lublin, 14 versts from Lubart\u00f3w, 4 versts from Miechowo, 7 versts from Kurowo, 56 versts from \u0141ukowo, 7 versts from the Wieprza River. The extent amounts to 2191 m\u00f3rgs [about 1.388 m\u00f3rgs per acre] and namely: 1190 m\u00f3rgs of arable land and gardens, 155 m\u00f3rgs of meadows, 1 m\u00f3rg of pastures, 700 m\u00f3rgs of forests, 46 m\u00f3rgs of wastelands and squares. They introduced 8-field crop rotation. Three brick buildings, 11 wooden buildings; there is a beautiful sheepfold and windmill. The village of the Wolica settlement extends 56 m\u00f3rgs, 1111 m\u00f3rgs of land.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">2.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a village and grange, Radom powiat, Potwor\u00f3w gmina, Skrzy\u0144sko parish. Twenty-eight versts not far from Radom. In the year 1827 there were 25 homes and 188 residents here, currently totaling 30 homes and 253 residents. The D\u0119biny grange is in the village of the same name, 28 versts from Radom, 10 versts from Przysuchy, 63 versts from Skiernieric. The extent of the grange amounts to 891 m\u00f3rgs and namely, 524 m\u00f3rgs of arable land and gardents, 344 m\u00f3rgs of meadows, 5 m\u00f3rgs of meadows, 344 m\u00f3rgs of forests, 5 m\u00f3rgs of wastelands and squares. 9-field crop rotation. Three brick buildings, 12 wooden buildings. The village of D\u0119biny settlement is 46 m\u00f3rgs with 523 m\u00f3rgs of land.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">3.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a grange in the Ciechan\u00f3w powiat, Grudusk gmina and parish, 80 versts from P\u0142ock, 20 versts from Ciechan\u00f3w, 10 versts from M\u0142awy, 3 versts from the beaten track. The extent amounts to 363 m\u00f3rgs and namely: 315 m\u00f3rgs of arable land and gardens, 15 m\u00f3rgs of meadows, 23 m\u00f3rgs of pastures, 10 m\u00f3rgs of wastelands and squares. One brick building, 6 wooden buildings, the grange was acquired in the year 1875 for 10,000 silver rubles.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">4.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a village in the Lipno powiat, Os\u00f3wka gmina, Czernikowo parish.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">5.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a village in the Przasnysz powiat, Karwaca gmina, Przasnysz parish. In the year 1827 there were 21 homes and 169 residents here.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">6.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a grange in the P\u0142onsk powiat, Modzele gmina, Nowe Miasto parish. The D\u0119biny grange is 65 versts from P\u0142ock, 16 versts from P\u0142o\u0144sk, 10 versts from Nasielsk, 7 versts from the beaten path, 21 versts from the Wis\u0142a [Vistula] River. The extent amounts to 126 m\u00f3rgs, and namely: 110 m\u00f3rgs of arable land and gardens, 13 m\u00f3rgs of pastures, 1 m\u00f3rg of water, 2 m\u00f3rgs of wastelands and squares. Three brick buildings; a bed of peat is located in the pasture; the preceding grange is formed and separated from the property of Miszewo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">7.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a village in the Pu\u0142tusk powiat, Zator gmina and parish. In the year 1827 there were 10 homes and 85 residents here.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">8.) <strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a village in the W\u0142odawa powiat, Turno gmina, Wo\u0142oskawola parish (r. g.). There are a total of 15 homes, 52 inhabitants and 195 m\u00f3rgs of territory.<br \/>\n<em>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Bronis\u0142aw Chlebowski, A. Palmirski<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, a favor of the Great Will.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, see <em>D\u0119bina<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>D\u0119biny<\/strong>, <em>D\u0119by<\/em>, in German <em>Dembine<\/em> or <em>Eichenau<\/em> from the year 1865, possession, Toru\u0144 powiat, it lies above the beaten track from Toru\u0144 to Ch\u0142emi\u0144ski, Przeszno parish, school in Nawra, post office in Unis\u0142aw. The territory of land is 1460 m\u00f3rgs, 12 buildings, 4 homes of residents, 104 Catholics, 18 Evangelicals. In the year 1869 it was owned by the Grabowskis.<br \/>\n<em>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The Reverend Fankidejski<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">As you can see, there are quite a number of Polish villages named D\u0119biny. The one near my grandfather&#8217;s village is number 3, the village in the Ciechan\u00f3w powiat.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Of the villages listed here, most were in the Russian Partition of Poland, except for the last which entry which was in the Prussian Partition.
