Obidzino. On the 9th day of February, the Nobleman J\u00f3zef<\/u> Obidzi\u0144ski died, husband of Katarzyna n\u00e9e Niedzia\u0142kowska, at rest at about 90 years of age, provided with the Sacrament and buried in the cemetery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In this record, the spelling of the last name has changed to Obidzi\u0144ski from Obidzienski, the spelling in the Baptismal Records of J\u00f3zef’s children. The spelling Obidzi\u0144ski is the spelling in use today.<\/p>\n

The fact that J\u00f3zef is described as the husband of Katarzyna n\u00e9e Niedzia\u0142kowska implies that he did not marry anyone else after he married Katarzyna. The Marriage Record for J\u00f3zef and Katarzyna stated that J\u00f3zef was a widower at the time of that marriage. I have not yet found the record for J\u00f3zef’s first marriage.<\/p>\n
