In the Year of the Lord 1727 [on the 5th of August], I [two words?]rzewski<\/p>\n

Klonowo<\/p>\n

In the same year [1727] on the 15th day of August, the same baptized Klara born of Krzysztof Niedzia\u0142kowski and Konstancja. \u00c2\u00a0The Godparents were Agnieszka D\u0142ugo\u0142\u0119cka and Tomasz \u0141oszewski.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As with many church records from this time period in Poland, the priest did not sign every record. He just referred to the year and his name in a previous record. In this case, the previous record was so dark in places that I could not read the priest’s name. Fortunately, the year is legible even if the priest’s name is not .\u00a0Click on\u00c2\u00a0the PDF copy of this record to see the beginning of the previous record\u00c2\u00a0with the year and the name of the priest.<\/p>\n

I’ll have to look at other records for the year 1727 to see if I can figure out the name of the priest. All I know for certain at this point is that his surname ends in -rzewski.<\/p>\n

Klara Niedzia\u0142kowska was my 5th great grand aunt.<\/p>\n
