In the year one thousand seven hundred eighty seven, on the first of January, by us, the undersigned pastor of Cap St. Ignace and the neighboring isles, was baptized Louis, born today of the legitimate marriage of Aubin Gamache and Marie Th\u00e9r\u00ed\u00a8se Sylvestre. The Godfather was Louis Hubert Fourenier and the Godmother was Marie Louisa Dion who have declared that they do not know how to sign, the father absent, as required according to law.<\/p>\n
