Lather was head of household, was a white male, 35 years old, married, was not attending school, had completed\u00c2\u00a02 years of high school, was born in New York, was working the week of March 24-30, worked 48 hours the week of March 24-30, 1940\u00c2\u00a0as the proprietor of a grocery and meat [store], worked on his own account, worked 52 weeks in 1939, earned $0, and did\u00c2\u00a0earned more than $50 from sources other than wages<\/li>\n<li>Mary Lather, the wife of George, provided the information for the census, was a white female, 32 years old, married, was not attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a01 year of high\u00c2\u00a0school, was born in New York,\u00a0was not working the week of March 24-30, was not doing public emergency work, was not seeking work, did not have a job or business, was doing housework, worked 0 weeks in 1939, earned $0, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages<\/li>\n<li>George Lather Jr .\u00a0was George&#8217;s son, was a white male,\u00a09 years old, single, was not attending school, had\u00c2\u00a0completed\u00c2\u00a02 years of school, and was born in New York<\/li>\n<li>Gerald Lather was George&#8217;s son, was a white male,\u00a05 years old, single, was not attending school, had completed\u00c2\u00a00 years of school, and was born in New York<\/li>\n<li>Ronald Lather\u00c2\u00a0was George&#8217;s son, was a white male,\u00a02 years old, single, was not attending school, had completed 2 years of school, and was born in New York<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ronald Lather was selected to answer supplementary questions for the census .\u00a0 His name was Ronald Lather, his father and mother were both born in New York, his mother tongue was English, and was not the child of a veteran.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2012 by Stephen J.
