digital image, Ancestry.com (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/\">http:\/\/www.ancestry.com<\/a> : accessed 25 April 2012); citing National Archives microfilm publication T627 roll 01719.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the link for a PDF copy of the 1940 US Federal Census Record for the <a href=\"https:\/\/stephendanko.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/CUS-Rawding-Allister-1940.pdf\">Allister Rawding Household<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The record states that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00c2\u00a0Rawding family lived at\u00c2\u00a0427 Pleasant\u00c2\u00a0St, Worcester, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, USA on 01 April 1940, they were household 30 in order of visitation, they rented their house for $30 per month, lived in the same house on 01 April 1935, and did not live on a farm<\/li>\n<li>Allister Rawding was head of household, was a white male, 46 years old, married, was not attending school, completed 8 years of school, was born in\u00c2\u00a0Canada, had filed first papers for naturalization,\u00a0did not work during the week of March 24-30 [although the record says he worked <del>4<\/del> hours that week, was looking for work, was unable to work, was usually a steam fitter for a plumbing company, worked in\u00c2\u00a0private work, worked 52 weeks in 1939, earned $2300, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages<\/li>\n<li>Hannah Rawding, wife of Allister, provided the information for the census, was a white female,\u00a050 years old, married, was not attending school, completed 4 years of high school, was born in Massachusetts,\u00a0and was doing housework<\/li>\n<li>John Rawding, son of Allister, was a white male,\u00a023 years old, single, was not attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a04 years of high school, was born in Massachusetts, did not work during the week of March 24-30, and was looking for work<\/li>\n<li>Ralph\u00c2\u00a0Rawding, son of Allister, was a white male,\u00a021 years old, single, was not attending school, completed 4 years of high school, was born in Massachusetts, worked 44 hours the week of March 24-30, was a clerk in a retail grocery, worked in private work, worked 52 weeks in 1939, earned $700 in wages, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages<\/li>\n<li>Irene\u00c2\u00a0Rawding,\u00a0daughter of Allister, was a white female, 16 years old, single, was attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a02 years of high school, and\u00c2\u00a0was born in Massachusetts<\/li>\n<li>Allister\u00c2\u00a0Rawding, daughter [sic, should be son, the error was noted by an &#8220;x&#8221; in the left margin]\u00c2\u00a0of Allister, was a white male, 15 years old, single, was attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a01 years of high school, and was born in Massachusetts<\/li>\n<li>Phyllis Rawding, son [sic, should be daughter, the error was noted by an &#8220;x&#8221; in the left margin] of Allister, was a white female, 13 years old, single, was attending school, completed 8 years of school, and was born in Massachusetts<\/li>\n<li>Robert\u00c2\u00a0Rawding, son of Allister, was a white male, 10 years old, single, was attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a04 years of school, and was born in Massachusetts<\/li>\n<li>Margret\u00c2\u00a0Rawding,\u00a0daughter of Allister, was a white female,\u00a06 years old, single, was attending school, completed\u00c2\u00a01 years of school, and was born in Massachusetts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2012 by Stephen J.
