I just recently returned from a trip to the Caribbean where I visited Hispaniola, an island shared by Haiti and the Dominican Republic .\u00a0 The village of Labadee is located on the northern coast of Haiti .\u00a0 One of the oldest structures in Labadee is Nellie’s Place which once served as a trading post there .\u00a0 Hibiscus flowers are common in the Caribbean, and Haiti is no exception .\u00a0 Small boats are anchored offshore.<\/p>\n
