Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n No 33\u00c2\u00a0 Wi\u0105zowna<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Wi\u0105zowna on the twelfth day of Jul in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-eight at the hour of four in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Teofil Gud\u0142owski, thirty-two years of age, and Adam R\u0105b, thirty-three years of age, both peasant farmers residing here in Wi\u0105zowna, and they stated that yesterday at the hour of twelve noon, Ludwik Gutowski died, a peasant residing here in Wi\u0105zowna, three years of age, son of the married couple Wojciech and Anna Gutowski of Wi\u0105zowna .\u00a0 After visual confirmation of the death of Ludwik Gutowski, this document was read aloud to the declarants, and because they do not know how to write, was signed by Us .\u00a0 [signed] The Reverend Antoni Zembrzewski, Pastor of Wi\u0105zowna<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Ludwik Gutowski was my 2nd great grand uncle and brother of Julianna Gutowska, my 2nd great grandmother .\u00a0 One of the declarants in this record was Teofil Gud\u0142owski .\u00a0 His surname could be Gutowski, but it appears to have a d\u0142 rather than a tk in the name .\u00a0 Even though Ludwik was only three years old at the time of his death, the record lists an occupation for him:\u00a0 peasant.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
