Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Nowa Wie\u015b 146.<\/p>\n This happened in Wigry on the twenty-sixth day of November in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-eight at the hour of four in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared J\u00f3zef Andruszkiewicz, thirty years of age, a farmer residing in Nowa Wie\u015b, in the presence of Jakub Kuczy\u0144ski and Mateusz Buchowiecki, both fifty years of age, farmers residing in Nowa Wie\u015b, and he showed Us a child of the female sex born in Nowa Wie\u015b on the twenty-fifth day of November in this same year at the hour of seven in the morning of his wife Salomea n\u00e9e Swiacka, twenty years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Katarzyna and her Godparents were J\u00f3zef L\u0119kiewicz and Franciszka Czerwiecza .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant and was signed by Us .\u00a0 The father and the witnesses do not know how to write.<\/p>\n [signed] The Reverend W.
