Baranauskas .\u00a0 The ledger states:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anna Baranauskas&#8217;s birth is recorded in Vol. 560, Page 466, No. 423 in the ledger for the city of Worcester,<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Her name was recorded as Annie Brunoski, a female child born in Worcester,<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0She was born on 13 May 1906 and her birth was recorded in January 1907,<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Her father was John Brunoski [Jonas Baranauskas], a wiredrawer from Russia residing in Worcester,<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Her mother was Elizabeth Jedetsky [Louisa \u00c5\u00bdideckait\u00c4\u2014?] from Russia, residing in Worcester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This family used several variants of their surnames after arriving in the United States .\u00a0 Besides Brunoski and Baranauskas, the family also used the variants Baron, Boronowski,\u00a0and Baronisky .\u00a0 The mother&#8217;s surname was recorded as Jedetsky and Zadeckas (and probably other variants as well) .\u00a0 Furthermore, the mother used various given names, including Sudenie, Elizabeth, and Louisa .\u00a0 I am fairly certain that the father&#8217;s original name was Jonas Baranauskas, but I am not certain of the mother&#8217;s original name, especially her given name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
