Translated from the French, the record states:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">B.59 [baptism 59]<br \/>\nFran\u00ed\u00a7ois<br \/>\nC\u00e9ade<br \/>\nGamache<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">On the thirteenth of May, one thousand eight hundred fifty-four, by us, the undersigned priest, was baptized Fran\u00ed\u00a7ois C\u00e9ade, born yesterday of the legitimate marriage of Fran\u00ed\u00a7ois Gamache, farmer, and of Marguerite Duteau of this parish. The Godfather was Fran\u00ed\u00a7ois Fradette, and the Godmother was Anastasie Mailloux, who, as well as the father, did not know how to sign.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">[signed] Fr. Morrison, Priest<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">This image can be found as image 18 of 41 in the Qu\u00e9bec Vital Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 in Napierville St-Cyprien for the year 1854. The record is on the back of folio 17.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The Godmother of the child was Anastasie Mailloux. From the Marriage Record of Fran\u00ed\u00a7ois Gamache and Marguerite Duteau, I learned that Marguerite&#8217;s mother was Anastasia Mailloux.
