Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Borkowo 207<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the fifteenth \/twenty-seventh day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of three in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Piotr Terebka<\/span>, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo, sixty years of age, in the presence of Antoni Terebka, fifty-two years of age, and Jan Marus, twenty-five years of age, both farmers from Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of eight in the evening of his wife Katarzyna <\/span>n\u00e9e Go\u0142a\u015b, thirty-six years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name J\u00f3zef, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Antoni Terebka and Maryanna Terebka .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses and was signed only by Us.
