Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock 61<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the twenty-fourth day of March \/ fifth day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of two in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Mateusz Go\u0142a\u015b<\/span>, a peasant farmer residing in P\u0142ock, thirty-three years of age, in the presence of Walenty Bo\u0107, thirty years of age, and Ignacy Doda, forty years of age, both farmers from Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born here in P\u0142ock yesterday at the hour of eleven at night of his wife Agnieszka <\/span>n\u00e9e Wyrotek, thirty-eight years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Walenty<\/span>, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Walenty Bo\u0107 and Rozalia Bo\u0107 .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses and was signed only by Us .\u00a0 The father and the witnesses do not know how to write.<\/p>\n [signed] The R[everend] \u0141uniewski ZP<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
