Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Borkowo 118<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the seventeenth \/ twenty-ninth day of June in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three at the hour of one in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Franciszek Go\u0142a\u015b, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo, thirty-two years of age, in the presence of Roch Niedzwiecki, thirty years of age, together with Wojciech Cudnik, fifty years of age, both farmers from Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of seven in the evening of his wife Franciszka n\u00e9e Gr\u0119dziszewska, thirty years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the names Piotr Pawe\u0142, and his Godparents were Ignacy Cudnik and Rozalia Cudnik .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses who do not know how to write.<\/p>\n [signed] The Reverend Juliusz Kulisz, Pastor of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The priest originally neglected to write out the complete date in this record, so he added the missing information in the margin .\u00a0 The marginal notation reads: “of June, one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three, The Reverend Kulisz testifying.”<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
