Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 145 K\u0105ty<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the twenty-fifth day of May in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-two at the hour of two in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Franciszek Go\u0142a\u015b<\/span>, a peasant farmer, thirty years of age, residing in K\u0105ty, in the presence of Jak\u00f3b Galanek, thirty years of age, together with Jan Kowalczyk, forty years of age, both peasant farmers from K\u0105ty, and he showed Us a child of the male sex, stating that he was born in K\u0105ty yesterday at the hour of two in the morning of his wife Katarzyna n\u00e9e Kowalewska, twenty-five years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day by the Reverend Bukowski was given the name Teofil<\/span>, and his Godparents were Tomasz Chaberek and Maryanna Siwik .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses and was signed by Us.<\/p>\n [signed] The Reverend Franciszek Sakowicz, Pastor of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock, maintaining the records of the civil state<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
