Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 45 K\u0105ty<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the twenty-sixth day of February \/ tenth day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of two in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Franciszek Go\u0142a\u015b, a day laborer, twenty-four years of age, in the presence of Jak\u00f3b Galanek, twenty-five years of age, together with Stanis\u0142aw Galanek, fifty years of age, both peasant farmers from K\u0105ty, and he showed Us a child of the female sex born in K\u0105ty yesterday at the hour of three in the morning of his wife Katarzyna n\u00e9e Kowalewska, twenty-three years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Maryanna and her Godparents were the afore-mentioned Jak\u00f3b Galanek and Franciszka Siwik .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses and was signed only by Us .\u00a0 The father and the witnesses do not know how to write.<\/p>\n [signed] The Reverend Juliusz Kulisz, Pastor of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
