Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 229 Borkowo<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the fourteenth day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-two at the hour of four in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Hilary Go\u0142a\u015b<\/span>, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo, fifty years of age, in the presence of Roch Niedzwedzki, fifty years of age, together with Ignacy Cudnik, forty years of age, both peasant farmers from Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the male sex, stating that this child was born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of eight in the evening of him and his wife Franciszka n\u00e9e Kukli\u0144ska, thirty years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed by the Reverend Burkowski on this day was given the name Mateusz<\/span> and his Godparents were Stanis\u0142aw Sielarz and Maryanna Wyrwas .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the illiterate declarants and witnesses and was signed by Us.<\/p>\n [signed] The Reverend Franciszek Sakowicz, Pastor of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock, Maintaining the records of the Civil State<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
