Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Piasutno 138<\/p>\n This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the sixth \/ eighteenth day of July in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of four in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared J\u00f3zef Plona<\/span>, a peasant farmer residing in Piasutno, thirty-six years of age, in the presence of J\u00f3zef Ko\u0142dys, thirty-eight years of age, together with Pawe\u0142 Ko\u0142dys, thirty years of age, both farmers from Piasutno, and he showed Us a child of the male sex, born in Piasutno yesterday at the hour of twelve noon of his wife Maryanna<\/span> n\u00e9e Dymek, twenty-four years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name J\u00f3zef, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned J\u00f3zef Ko\u0142dys and Agnieszka Ko\u0142dys .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant father and witnesses and was signed only by Us because the declarant father and the witnesses do not know how to write.
