Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>50 Piasutno<\/p>\n<p>This happened in the village of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock on the twenty-fourth day of February in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-one at the hour of one in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Ignacy Dymek, a peasant farmer residing in Piasutno, forty years of age, in the presence of B\u0142a\u017cej \u017belazny, forty-five years of age, together with Jak\u00f3b Dymek, forty years of age, peasant farmers in Piasutno, a he showed Us a child of the male sex, stating that this child was born in Piasutno on the twenty-first day of this same month and year at the hour of six in the evening of him and his wife Rozalia n\u00e9e Chaberek, thirty years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed by Us on this day was given the name J\u00f3zef and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned B\u0142a\u017cej \u017belazny and Maryanna \u017belazna .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the illiterate declarants and witnesses and was signed by Us.<br \/>\n[signed] The Reverend Franciszek Sakowicz, Pastor of Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock, Maintaining the records of the Civil State<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One of the earliest known Dymek ancestors of my cousins was J\u00f3zef Dymek, born in about 1863 in Dymki, Kolno, \u0141om\u017ca .\u00a0 I think I have discovered the correct parish, Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock, but the microfilmed records are few and far between .\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know if this J\u00f3zef Dymek is the correct person, but the microfilmed records are so few that I may need to hire a professional researcher in Poland to confirm .\u00a0 I do, however, believe that Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock is the correct parish because of the great number of people there with the surnames Dymek and Go\u0142as and the fact that Piasutno (called Piasutno-Dymki in some records) is in the Ma\u0142y P\u0142ock parish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
