The record states:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">folio two J.C. ccc<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Burial Gibson Jan. 4th 1890<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Sarah Waters, widow of the late<br \/>\nJohn Gibson, in his lifetime of the<br \/>\nParish of Saint George of Clarenceville,<br \/>\nfarmer, died on the second day of<br \/>\nJanuary, one thousand eight hundred<br \/>\nand ninety, aged eighty-five years,<br \/>\nand was buried on the fourth day<br \/>\nof the same month and year in<br \/>\npresence of subscribing witnesses by<br \/>\nme.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">[Signed] John W. Clipsham.<br \/>\nMinister<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Witnesses<br \/>\nNelson S. Gibson<br \/>\nMary C. Gibson<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">The minister, John W. Clipsham, was described at the front of the folios:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">&#8230;Reverend J.W. Clipsham of the Clarenceville Council of the Methodist Church in the County of Missisquoi in the District of Bedford in the Province of Quebec&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">Sarah&#8217;s Death and Burial Record states that she was a widow. Since she was enumerated in the 1871 census with her husband, then her husband, John Gibson, died between 1871 and 1890.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I don&#8217;t know who the witnesses, Nelson D. Gibson and Mary C. Gibson, were.
