The record, translated from the Latin, states:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">Jan\u00c2\u00a0Da\u0144ko was born on 11 Dec 1824, in house number 140 in Nienadowa, a\u00c2\u00a0boy legitimately born to a Catholic family and delivered by the midwife Zofia Grzegorzkowa<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">He was baptized on\u00c2\u00a0the same day by\u00c2\u00a0Szymon Musiewicz, assistant pastor of the church in Dubiecko<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">His parents were Wojciech Da\u0144ko, a farmer,\u00a0and Rozalia, daughter of J\u00f3zef Chr\u00f3\u015bcicki<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">His Godparents (Sponsors) were Kazimierz Chr\u00f3\u015bcicki and Barbara Kazienkowa<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">Jan&#8217;s record bears many similarities to that of his sister Maria&#8217;s: both were baptized on the day of their births, both were delivered by the same midwife and baptized by the same priest, and both had the same Godparents.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">In\u00c2\u00a0Jan&#8217;s record, Rozalia&#8217;s father was J\u00f3zef Chr\u00f3\u015bcicki, while in\u00c2\u00a0other records, the surname is spelled Chru\u015bcicki .\u00a0In Polish, the letters &#8220;\u00f3&#8221; and &#8220;u&#8221; are pronounced in a similar manner, so I&#8217;m not surprised to see these two variants in spelling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The third child of Wojciech Da\u0144ko and Rozalia Chru\u015bcicka was born in 1824 and was named Jan.
