The Godfather of three of the children was Wojciech Trupi\u0142o and the Godmother of four of the children was Marianna Markoska.<\/p>\n Why were these two people asked to be the Godparents of the Da\u0144ko children over and over again? Perhaps Wojciech Trupi\u0142o and Marianna Markoska were close neighbors, prominent citizens in the community, or family members.<\/p>\n Throughout the Galician records, several different Latin words were used for farmers. The\u00c2\u00a0ones I seen most often are agricola<\/em>, meaning a farmer who owned land, rusticus<\/em>, meaning a landless farmer, and hortulanus<\/em>, meaning a gardener who owned a small amount of land.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2007 Stephen J.
