Danko.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Click on the link for a <a id=\"p1193\" href=\"https:\/\/stephendanko.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/CRB%20Danko%20Maciej%201808.pdf\">PDF<\/a> copy of the Birth and Baptismal Record for Maciej Da\u0144ko .\u00a0 The record states that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">Maciej Da\u0144ko was born in house number 161 in Nienadowa<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">He was baptized on 01 Jan 1808 in the church in Dubiecko<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">His parents were Wojciech Da\u0144ko and Marjanna Jedli\u0144ska<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">His Godparents (Sponsors) were Pawel Jedli\u0144ski and Marjanna Markoska<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">A notation was made that on 14 Jun 1882 he was in house number 59<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">The register notes that he was baptized on the same date as the entry above, meaning 01 Jan 1808 .\u00a0 No clear notation was made of the date of his birth, which may actually have been a day or two earlier, but could also be the same day as the baptism.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The baptismal records for this time period provide minimal information .\u00a0 No notation of the names of the grandparents, the name of the priest who performed the baptism, or the name of the midwife was made.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The far right side\u00c2\u00a0of the record was cut off in this image .\u00a0 The missing portion describes the occupations of the Godparents.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">In dealing with names in the records from the former Galicia (Austria Poland), I always translate the names from Latin to Polish for my reports.
