Translated from the Latin, the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tr\u0119towo Mazani\u0119ta<\/span>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 On the 13th day of August 1797, I [Adam Zabielski, Vicar of the Parish Church in Pa\u0142uki] baptized an infant with the name Bart\u0142omiej, son of the legally married couple, the Nobles Stanis\u0142aw and Franciszka Tr\u0119towski .\u00a0 The Godparents were His Honor Tomasz Susicki, [cup bearer of Parnassus?] and the Noble Klara Tr\u0119towska, an unmarried woman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bart\u0142omiej Tr\u0119towski was the father-in-law of J\u00f3zef Chodkowski, my 2nd cousin 4X removed .\u00a0 I have no idea what &#8220;Pocillator Parnasiensis&#8221; means, but literally it seems to translate as &#8220;cupbearer of Parnassus&#8221; .\u00a0 Since Tomasz Susicki is called &#8220;Magnificus&#8221; in this record, his occupation may be an official of the court .\u00a0 This record does not provide the maiden name of the mother, but that information can be found in other records.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2011 by Stephen J.
