Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Klonowo 99.<\/p>\n \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 This happened in Pa\u0142uki on the sixteenth \/ twenty-eighth day of August in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three at the hour of one in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared J\u00f3zef Chodkowski, owner of a part [of his village], residing in Klonowo, thirty years of age, in the presence of Anzelm Brzozowski of D\u0142ugo\u0142\u0119cka, seventy-five years of age, and Piotr Ko\u0142okowski from Osyski, twenty-six years of age, owners of parts [of their villages], and he showed Us a child of the male sex, born in Klonowo yesterday at the hour of five in the morning of his wife Marianna n\u00e9e Tr\u0119towska, twenty-one years of age .\u00a0 To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Karol, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Piotr Ko\u0142akowski and his wife Teofila .\u00a0 This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and, because they do not know how to write, it was signed only by Us.
