The following were married and legally blessed on the twentieth of April in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred and twenty-eight in the local parish church and in the parish church in Breidenbach am Herzberg x with the permission of the bridegroom’s guardian Kasper Eidt, resident of Oberjossa, and also the parents of the bride:<br />
Philipp Seng, legitimately born, unmarried son of the deceased Johann Henrich Seng, former resident and innkeeper in Oberjossa in Kurhesse, Ziegenhain Kreisampt, and the deceased Maria Christina née Bauer, newly beginning citizen and baker here in Kirtorf, born on the 11th of December 1804, and<br />
Elisabetha Lather, legitimately born, unmarried daughter of Elias Lather, citizen and baker here, and Anna Elisabetha née Schmidt, born on the 3rd of January 1807.<br />

<p>The following were consecrated in marriage on the twenty-fifth of May in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred seventy-four, after the required proclamations were made in the local church, after presenting written certification from the Grand Duchy rural court in Homburg, that with regard to the civil relationship, there were no constraints standing in the way, and after canonical requirements were fulfilled:<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Balthasar Sattler</span>, up and coming citizen and cooper here, twenty-nine years nine months and eight days old [born on 17 August 1844], the legitimately born, unmarried son of Heinrich Sattler, citizen and cooper here in Kirtorf, and Clara née Hewig; and<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Katharina Seng</span>, twenty-seven years and twenty days old [born on 05 May 1847], legitimately born daughter of Philipp Seng, citizen and forester here in Kirtorf, and the deceased Elisabetha née Lather.<br />

<p>At about two o’clock in the morning of the first of September, in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred forty-two, Georg Seng died, nine years, ten months and four days old, legitimately born third son of Philipp Seng, citizen and baker here, and his wife Elisabetha née Lather and, at twelve noon on the third of the same month, was buried in the earth according to Christian tradition in the presence of Georg Blüser, son of the deceased Heinrich Blüser, and Wilhelm Becker, son of the deceased Johannes Becker from here, who have signed the present document next to me, the minister.<br />

<p>Between ten and eleven o’clock on the evening of Sunday, the eleventh of December, in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred thirty-one, Wilhelm Philip Seng died, age six months and eighteen days, legitimately born son of Philipp Seng, citizen and baker here in Kirtorf, and his wife Elisabetha née Lather and, at twelve noon on the fourteenth of the same month, was quietly buried in the earth according to Christian tradition in the presence of Balthasar Lather, son of the local citizen and tailor Georg Lather, and Johann Georg Blüser, legitimate son of Henrich Blüser, citizen and day laborer here, who have signed the present document next to me, the minister.<br />

<p>On the morning of the fifth of May in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred forty-seven, between eight and nine o’clock, after a credible report, the eighth child and third daughter was born to Philipp Seng, citizen and day laborer here, and his wife Elisabetha née Lather, which on the thirteenth of the same month was baptized, where she was given the name “Catharina”.<br />
The sponsor was: Catharina Seng, eldest daughter of Johannes Seng [one word?] at Hattenbach in Kurhesse, Hersfeld Kreis / absent / in whose place the midwife Christina Rullmann stood in and signed this document next to the father of the child and me the chaplain who performed the baptism.<br />
