The Godfather was Pierre Richard and the Godmother was Angélique Minville, who have stated that they do not know how to sign as required according to law.

On the twenty-seventh of February in the year one-thousand seven-hundred [three] was (which was privately baptized at the moment of birth from the mother because of a suspicion of danger) baptized under condition performed according to the sentiment of St. Charles: acts part 4 regarding administrative baptism, Louis, son of Louis Gamache and Angélique Minville, the father and mother legally married, born on the twenty-fifth of the same month and year. The Godfather was Nicolas Gamache and the Godmother was Françoise Minville who have stated that they do not know how to sign.  B[rother] Pierre LePoivre, Recollect Missionary

This infant was baptized privately at the moment of birth and was conditionally baptized at the church two days later. The conditional baptism was performed to ensure that the child was properly baptized in case the ceremony conducted at birth was not correctly performed.
