This happened in Pałuki on the first / thirteenth day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of three in the afternoon. There appeared Jan Suwiński, twenty-six years of age, and Ludwik Suwiński, twenty-five years of age, owners of parts [of the village], and they stated that in this village yesterday at the hour of four in the morning, Antonina Suwińska died, nine months old, born in Bedy, daughter of the declarant Ludwik and Teofila née Niska. After visual confirmation of the death of Antonina, this document was read aloud to the declarants and because they do not know how to write, was signed by Us alone.
[signed] The Reverend Ksawery Nałecz, Pastor of Pałuki, maintaining the records of the Civil State
Antonina Suwińska was the niece of Józef Andrzej Suwiński, the husband of Marianna Chodkowska, my 3rd cousin 3X removed.
