This happened in Pałuki on the twenty-sixth day of March / seventh day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-two at the hour of six in the afternoon. There appeared Mikołaj Chodkowski, fifty-nine years of age, and Ludwik Cichowski, thirty-seven years of age, owners of parts [of the village] and residing in [Pajewo-]Rźyski, and they stated that in this village, yesterday at the hour of five in the morning, Konstancja Suwińska died, two years of age, born in [Pajewo-]Rźyski, daughter of the married couple Józef and Marianna née Chodkowska Suwiński. After visual confirmation of the death of Konstancja, this document was read aloud to the declarants and because they do not know how to write, was signed by Us alone.
