IT WAS BILLED AS THE SHORTEST STREETCAR LINE IN THE WORLD..........YOU GOT OFF THE #10 PIEDMONT STREETCAR WHEN IT TURNED OFF TO THE EAST [TOWARDS PIEDMONT CITY]. THE TRACKS WERE SHARED BY THE #C LINE OF THE KEY SYSTEM INTERURBAN TO SAN FRANCISCO. CROSSING PIEDMONT AVE, YOU HOPPED ON THE WAITING #27 STREETCAR FOR A ONE-BLOCK RIDE NORTH TO THE CEMETERY ENTRANCE JUST IN FRONT OF CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES......COLOR SCHEME WAS BASIC BLUE, WITH CREME TRIM. I THINK IT ACTUALLY HAD FRONT AND REAR FENDERS FOR THIS TRIP!!!!!! BARELY 1/4 MILE! I THINK IT WAS A BIRNEY.......AND I THINK IT WAS SUBSIDIZED BY THE CEMETERY SOMEWHAT.......</description>
