The Birth and Baptism of Georg Seng – 1832

Georg Seng, son of Philipp Seng and his wife Elisabetha Lather, was born on 28 Oct 1832. He was baptized in the Evangelical Church in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hesse-Darmstadt (now Germany) on 11 Nov 1832.

Georg, Son of Philipp Seng.
Died on the first of September eighteen-hundred forty-two

                         767.
1832

In the evening of the twenty-eighth of October in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred thirty-two, between eight and nine o’clock, after a credible report, a child, a son, the third child and third son, was born to Philipp Seng, citizen and baker here, and his wife Elisabetha née Lather, and on the eleventh of November the child was baptized, where he was given the name Georg. The sponsor was Johann Georg Lather, local citizen and master tailor here,
who has signed the present document nest to the father of the child and me the chaplain who performed the baptism.
