The footnoteMaven has asked for submissions on costume for the next edition of Smile for the Camera. This photo, taken in about 1936 shows my mother’s family dressed to the nines for their photograph. You’ve just gotta love those knickers, the argyle socks, and the collar on Nat’s dress!
