On the thirteenth day of the month of June in the year one-thousand seven-hundred six was baptized by me, the undersigned missionary priest of the seminary of Québec, serving the functions of pastor of the parish of Cap St. Ignace, Philippe, born yesterday, the son of Eustache Fortin and Louise Cloutier his wife of this parish. The Godfather and Godmother were Philippe Rageot, the undersigned parish priest, and Anne LeMieux who has declared that she does not know how to write or sign as required by law. [signed] Philipe Rageot, missionary priest

Notice that the Godfather was the priest who baptized the child.
