â„– 38 . Łaguny
This happened in Zielona on the eleventh day of October in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-six at the hour of two in the afternoon. Jan Kardaszewski, forty-two years old, and Kazimierz Kowalski, thirty-six years old, residing in Łaguny appeared, and they stated that yesterday at the hour of three in the afternoon, Anna Zygmuntowicz died, wife of a farmer, daughter of the married couple, the deceased Stanisław and the still-living Franciszka Imielski, leaving behind her widowed husband Stanisław Zygmuntowicz. After visual confirmation of the death of Zygmuntowicz, this document was read aloud to the declarants and was signed by us. The declarants do not know how to write.
[signed] The Reverend Rabowski, Administrator of the Zielona parish, maintaining the civil register

Anna was the first wife of my third great-grandfather, Stanisław Zygmuntowicz, but Anna was not my ancestor. I am descended from Stanisław Zygmuntowicz and his second wife, Julianna Ruszczyńska.
