On 15 Aug 1727, Klara Niedziałkowska, sister of my 5th great grandfather Ignace Niedziałkowski, was baptized.

In the Year of the Lord 1727 [on the 5th of August], I [two words?]rzewski
Klonowo
In the same year [1727] on the 15th day of August, the same baptized Klara born of Krzysztof Niedziałkowski and Konstancja. The Godparents were Agnieszka Długołęcka and Tomasz Łoszewski.
As with many church records from this time period in Poland, the priest did not sign every record. He just referred to the year and his name in a previous record. In this case, the previous record was so dark in places that I could not read the priest’s name. Fortunately, the year is legible even if the priest’s name is not. Click on the PDF copy of this record to see the beginning of the previous record with the year and the name of the priest.
I’ll have to look at other records for the year 1727 to see if I can figure out the name of the priest. All I know for certain at this point is that his surname ends in -rzewski.

It’s amazing how you can even read these Stephen, they’re so dark. In these Klonowo records you’ve been posting lately I’ve been able to pick the dates and the names for the most part out, but I really have to study the picture to figure it out.
