This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the seventeenth / twenty-ninth day of June in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three at the hour of one in the afternoon. There appeared Franciszek Gołaś, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo, thirty-two years of age, in the presence of Roch Niedzwiecki, thirty years of age, together with Wojciech Cudnik, fifty years of age, both farmers from Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of seven in the evening of his wife Franciszka née Grędziszewska, thirty years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the names Piotr Paweł, and his Godparents were Ignacy Cudnik and Rozalia Cudnik. This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses who do not know how to write.

The priest originally neglected to write out the complete date in this record, so he added the missing information in the margin. The marginal notation reads: “of June, one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three, The Reverend Kulisz testifying.”
