Acclaimed artist and former Miss Curaçao 1966, Nena Sanchez, has a gallery in one of the oldest land houses on Curaçao, Landhuis Jan Kok. Outside the gallery is a parade float with representations of Nena’s art. From Landhuis Jan Kok one can see the landscape of the island. Acacias and cactus abound.

What a colorful and clean island. Thanks for showing us around.
My pleasure, Barbara!
I love looking at your travel pictures Steve! You are becoming such a world traveler! Or have you always done this?
I’ve always enjoyed travel, Cheryl. In the past, I have worked with people who were constantly harping about how they had to travel too much for work and how they hated to travel. Oddly enough, when i offered to travel in their place, they stopped complaining! you have correctly determined that I have been traveling much more during the past year than I have traveled previously. I would travel even more if I could get the time off work!
