To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Paweł, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Józef Gutek and Rozalia Piasutzowa. This document was read aloud to the declarant father and witnesses who do not know how to write.

Of interest in this record is the mother’s maiden name: Gołaś. The Dymek ancestor of my cousins was Józef Dymek, married to Bronisława Gołaś. While I do not know at this time whether the people named in this record are related to my cousins, it is encouraging that a Dymek married a Gołaś in this place.
