Joseph J. Danko served as a sergeant with Company A, 366th Military Police Service Battalion, United States Army, in the European-African-Middle Eastern theater, and was a member of the 713th Military Police Association.

As with my Uncle Mike Danko’s grave, there is an American flag on Uncle Joe’s grave .  The medallion on the flag holder states “WW II US VETERAN”.

  2. Yes, indeed, Norma. In World War II, my father, five of my six uncles, and one first cousin served in the military.
